Hello! My name is Alexis Trippiedi and I attended Benedictine University to pursue a career in Graphic Arts & Design. I have had a passion for creativity since a very young age with hand-drawing and coloring. I was even a winner of a coloring contest in kindergarten, which was sponsored by the local fire department. However, it was not until my junior year of high school that I knew that Graphic Arts & Design was the career that I wanted to pursue. I took a digital design class and I fell in love with the concept of designing with different texts, colors, shapes, effects, and tools with a variety of Adobe programs on the computer. I knew that I made the right decision when I felt that Graphic Arts & Design was more than just a job; it was something that I enjoyed even in my free time. I love to create designs about my personal life, so I am able to share my experiences and emotions with others through art, so it tells a story. Before I start a design, I gather inspiration to get my creative juices flowing. Once I have decided on what I would like to design, I incorporate aesthetics, unity, and simplicity. I would consider myself a perfectionist, as I spend many hours on each of my designs until I feel that they are flawless. I am so excited to use all these skills and abilities in the real world to see where it takes me!
